Mentally… I’ve developed a healthy way of processing hardships and a greater sense of resilience. At RWP we have open conversations about ourselves and through this I’ve been empowered me to be more transparent about my “bad days” even outside of RWP. I now know it’s more courageous to be honest with yourself than lie to the world.
Physically… my fitness has improved to the point I don’t need to lie to my friends that I had a condition called “small lungs” when we play sports anymore 😭. But beyond that’s it’s helped with my fatigue which has been a surprising but welcomed side effect!
Socially… I’ve met some unbelievable people through RWP! They started as strangers who believed I could accomplish something way before I actually did it – now they are people I’d call my friends. That’s what community is all about! People don’t realise how much of your self confidence is built from the outside-in.”
