“Running has gotten me through business challenges, hard break ups and mental health challenges through simply providing a platform for community and achievement. I’ve always been a runner, starting as a short distance runner with 100 metres as a teenager and now running longer distances with my first London Marathon under my belt. But it’s been the running with a group and bursting through tough challenges that has always been my underlying motivation. In 2021, I faced a number of obstacles that set me back physically and mentally from business to personal relationships. Hitting extreme lows that not many people know about that started showing in a number of different areas in my life. Running was the outlet to help provide some structure and realign many of my thoughts back on what my purpose was and provide a bit of compassion for myself.”
